Southern Ocean Solo
Welcome to the home page of the Southern Ocean Solo sailing challenge! I am Ryan Langley, a 17 year sailor old currently preparing for a nonstop sailing voyage around the world! A voyage like this has never been attempted by someone my age before. The circumnavigation is expected to take 8 to 10 months, 4 to 5 of those in the southern ocean. Few people have ever experienced the ocean at the bottom of the world, and I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to. Through this website you can follow my progress and become part of the adventure.
